I found that I had to install the latest ZWO driver software to have recognized my new ASI533MM-Pro.

No you will not loose your settings when uninstalling and re-install SC.

When it happens (rarely): shifting mid level always to the right.
Don't use darks or gradient removal.
Happens when high veil clouds.

Same experience: do a new live stack only.

I also have experienced sometimes such "weird behavior". What I have found that this is mostly correlated to the sky seeing/transparency. Eg. with the moon lighting up the sky it is hard to hold the histogram stacking stable. Also when their are intermittent high veil clouds. Just a consid...

With my 290MM (small FOV) ASTAP doesn't always find a solution, reporting "Too small FOV".
Using "Astrotortilla" will almost find a solution.
When using ASTAP, be sure to set the correct "Field of View HEIGHT" into the Stack menu.

The lower Live Stacking display height is not retained when switching between Live View/Live Stack.
Also when ending/restarting the program.
The height is set to a high value.
This seems only to appear in the "New Interface".
