Re: A few issues in latest version
Hi Robin I also did an 8 bit sensor analysis test for you along with the 16 bit. I am trying to attach both the 16 bit raw fits for the noisy background issue during every refresh in live stacking and also the sensor analysis data test as .json. I am getting an error message for both extensions as i...

Re: A few issues in latest version
Hi Robin Thank you and I found the .json file for the ASI183 mono camera using raw16. Should I also do a raw8 senor analysis or is this fine? Yes I can send a raw frame and camera settings file the next time it acts up when live stacking. What is the best way to do this just select "save indivi...

Re: A few issues in latest version
Hi Robin I was able to do a sensor analysis for the ASI 183 mono at only raw16 since I did this test prior to reading your message sorry. I thought that one should do the test using the highest bit depth? I cannot find the sensor analysis data from my tests even though I do now see the brain feature...

A few issues in latest version
Hi Robin Last night I was finally able to test the latest version of Sharpcap and my new ZWO ASI183 Pro mono camera. Everything ran very well except for a few issues. 1. The is no sensor analysis data for the ZWO ASI183 mono camera in the library even though there is one for the Altair Hyper 183 mon...

Re: A couple of feature requests
Robin, thank you but I know that the mini display histogram has a log feature. The problem is when capturing as " save as viewed live" the display settings will not be saved. Therefore, I use the display mini histogram as only a histogram guide when using the live histogram for all of my a...

A couple of feature requests
Hi Robin I was wondering if you could add a logarithmic box in the live histogram so the data can be seen easier when selected in order to adjust the black, gamma and white points? Also when using the live stack it would be great if you could add a feature allowing one to remove the last stacked sub...

Re: variable gain for sensor analysis
Hi Robin That is great advice and I will follow it. I will do a sensor analysis with both cameras (ASI1600MC & ASI183MM) using my flat panel and dark's and save the results. I will then when pointing my darkest area of my sky run the brain and use 5 sec for min and 60 sec for max with the read n...
