Thanks , Dave , for showing all of your work . Makes me realize how much more I have to learn . Can you talk more of your image that shows "why flat frames are needed"? I want to learn how to evaluate my own set up and how to improve things with flats . I can see easily what my dark frames...

Thanks so much for writing back . . . So , I don't have to do anything special to make the new version run ? Will it know how to find my camera and it's drivers just like the old version ? And can I safely delete the old version ?

I presently have the pro version of SharpCap 3.1.5220 ; but when I go to the help section and click "check for updates" it says "no new updates currently available" . Can you tell me what the best way is to update to the latest version . I was afraid to just download a new versio...

I took this January 5th from my work place parking lot in Boerne , Texas , with a QHY183m cmos and an ES127 FCD100 on an unguided CGX mount : 600 frames , each of 6 seconds .
