Automatic Focusing Support with Focusers
I was wondering if Sharpcap Pro will automatically perform an auto focus with the Celestron Focuser or the Starlight Instruments Electronic Focusing system? I have all of the ASCOM drivers loaded on my PC. The key is automatic focus and not so much control it manually which I am sure works.

Re: Save Individual Frames Option
Hi, The fact that I've received two separate reports now of this means that there must be a bug in here somewhere, but I still haven't managed to locate the situation that causes the bug to happen. Are you able to turn off the saving of frames at all? For instance does it stop if you check and then...

Re: Save Individual Frames Option
Robin,
I have been able to get this to fail using the dummy cam for Orion indoors.
What would you like me to try when I go out again?

Save Individual Frames Option
About a month ago, I decided to check the option under the controls to 'Save Individual Frames' I got a new folder called 'RAW' with each individual frames. I then unchecked the option and I was using Sharpcap Pro last night and when I got home to look at my stacked images and I still saw the RAW fo...

Snapshot Intervals
I am preparing for the transit of Mercury and I would like to take snapshots at different times during the transit (IE every 10 minutes or so). I know I could manually hit the snapshot button but is there a way in Sharcap Pro to have it automatically take snapshots at a specific interval so I can ge...

Re: Test Camera 1 (Deep Sky)
Robin,
I was able to get it to work by removing the Orion image from testing controls by deleting it and adding it back in.

Test Camera 1 (Deep Sky)
For some reason, I can no longer see the image of Orion in the Test Camera 1 (Deep Sky) selection. The Test Camera 2 (High Speed) of Jupiter works fine. This has happened before and I can't remember how I fixed it. I like to use this feature to get more familiar with Sharpcap without having to attac...

Re: Applying Dark Frames with SharpPro Live Stacking
Robin,
Thanks for this information it was very helpful.
So just to confirm. There is no way to add the dark frames to the raw images within Sharpcap after my imaging sessions which means I would need to use a program like Deep Sky Stacker ?

Re: Applying Dark Frames with SharpPro Live Stacking
Robin, I meant save raw frames like you stated. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the process of live stacking except for the visual experience on the laptop? I know that I could apply the dark frames right before I live stack like you had mentioned earlier but that seems kind of backwards because you won...

Re: Applying Dark Frames with SharpPro Live Stacking
I suppose I could check the option to cut each individual frame and then go back in later to apply the dark frames? Is that called post processing and what are the steps to do that in Sharpcap?
