Selecting "Folder Monitor Camera" puts SC into a bit of a death spiral preventing me from sending the error report.
Best I could do is a screen grab. There are 21 of these before it stops.
I've also attached the log file.

Re: Sub-stacks ?
Currently you have the option to save the RAW frames (taking lots of disk space) or not saving them (putting all your eggs in one stacked frame). If you just saved a sub-stack every 10 frames for example, you'd use a tenth of the disk space and reduce the risk over having just a single image file at...

Sub-stacks ?
Would it be possible to add a sub-stacking function where you save the stack after X exposures repeatedly ? The idea being for example, take 30 second subs and every 10 subs the stack is saved and the stack restarted. At the end of the hour you have 30, 5 minute exposures rather than the risk of a s...

Re: Plans for SharpCap 3.2
Could you add a command line parameter to select a camera and/or run a particular start-up script ? Since you can run multiple instances, it would be helpful to have shortcuts that start up SharpCap connected to say a Polemaster or guidecam with the appropriate settings, without altering the imaging...

Re: OBJCTRA and OBJCTDEC
This seems a bit backward to me. The plate solve is of the image. The result is relevant to the image and is what should be written in the header. There's no reason that the mount shouldn't be slewing to the next target. Doing it via ASCOM is making a lot of assumptions that would result in the inco...

QHY174M-GPS - Stop time with Cal LED
SharpCap Pro 3.1.5022 If you turn on the Calibration LED, the time from the camera freezes. The difference between the GPS and PC clock increases accordingly. Turning off the Calibration LED doesn't fix the time freeze but moving either of the Calibration Start/End sliders does. Checking back, this ...

Re: New Poster - Considering purchasing Sharpcap Pro
I think your chances are quite high. I use it with a wide FoV (8 x 11 deg) in the southern hemisphere and it will often get a good plate solve when the pole is outside the FoV. I might see part of one or two green circles and I can use that to get the mount pointed roughly south before starting the ...

Re: Spiral search problem with Skywatcher mounts
I'm fairly new to using ASCOM for mount control so I couldn't say if it is more or less common when doing a spiral search through SharpCap than any other program/means. Luckily I was doing the spiral at a slow rate. I just remembered seeing this thread so I thought I'd report it. I see how there's n...

Re: Spiral search problem with Skywatcher mounts
I had this happen last night. A spiral search initiated in SharpCap ran correctly for a while and then just kept going in one direction. SharpCap didn't lock up for me but disconnecting from the mount, quitting out of SharpCap and stopping ASCOM didn't stop the mount. I had to reboot to get connecti...
