Michel,
you can try TANGRA (with manual timestamp entry) or PyMovie + PyOTE (much more to install, also manual entries possible).

Re: Start video or sequence at a given time.
Hi, because of bad weather I did some tests for scripting (as an absolute newbie) - it seems to be very interesting. Here is a very unprofessional attempt to solve Tim's task, basing on https://forums.sharpcap.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=102. Rename the attached file SimpleSequence.txt to SimpleS...

Re: Start video or sequence at a given time.
Hi,
for unattended occultation work I would welcome such a feature too.
@ Tim: Maybe it is already in the pipeline ? viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2075

Re: QHY 174 GPS Calibration LED issue // USB Traffic weirdness
Hi Tim, Glad to hear this :-) Yes, the SC-called "capture profiles" are INI (txt) files, located at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\SharpCap\CaptureProfiles\ ... If you know what you do, you can edit them with an editor (make backup copies). Since the special versio...

Re: QHY 174 GPS Calibration LED issue // USB Traffic weirdness
Hi Tim, Maybe you have a mismatch. My posting with all data and especially the INI file only refers to SC 3.2.6212.0 . This version should also work for you if you have a fresh installation. Please deactivate SC's "Restore camera settings automatically" - Settings / General. If you start S...

Re: QHY 174 GPS Calibration LED issue // USB Traffic weirdness
Hi Tim and all, because the LED calibration depends on many settings, I've made a test with a dedicated set as I usually apply for occultation work, see attachment testset_02 (QHY174M).ini. This you can paste to: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\SharpCap\CaptureProfiles\ ... T...

Re: QHY 174 GPS Calibration LED issue // USB Traffic weirdness
Hi,
thanks to Robin and Hristo.
As far as I could test: it works. I've made some tests to check the LED calibration (for my hardware see above). The best how-to is in SC help. I post two self explaining screenshots, maybe you will try to reproduce them.
Regards
Christian

Re: QHY 174 GPS Calibration LED issue // USB Traffic weirdness
Hi, from my experience (SC pro 3.2.6194.0; w7-64bit home premium, Intel i7 2.2GHz, 16GB RAM, SSD) the LED goes on if I move the slider "Calibration End Pos (Fine)" from def. 1000, all the others 3 sliders are default = 0. To see the LED you must push up the gain, with full frame, the LED i...

Re: Recording in ADV format
Hi, I am new to the forum too and I'm also an occultation observer (IOTA), also owning a QHY174GPS. Many thanks to the developers for the ongoing development of sharpcap. However, for our occultation work there are some limitations with the SER format and I fully agree with Claudio's wish regarding ...
