Re: ZWO ASI6200MC no picture

I had an issue with my ASI2600MC-PRO Friday when first connected, it would not show an image and the dropped frame counter just counted up regardless of exposure length or any other setting downloaded latest ZWO drivers and installed and then the Jan 3rd version of SharpCap installed it and restarte...

Re: Hardware linked camera Profiles

From what Robin has proposed if you did not want to use the feature then you would just launch SharpCap as you do now so don't really see a downside as you would either chose to use the feature or continue as now.

Cheers

Re: Polemaster or Sharcap Pro Polar Alignment

I use my main APM 130/780 LZOS scope at the native f6 780mm and f4.5 585mm focal length with reducer to polar align with SharpCap and have never had an issue with alignment this was using my ASI1600MM-PRO and it works fine and I can easily get SharpCap within 2 seconds accuracy so would not think yo...

Hardware linked camera Profiles

Hi Robin, Currently we have single tab in SharpCap for hardware such as filter wheel / mount / focuser... would it be possible at some point to be able to link these to camera profiles as in the future I will have two scopes that will be imaging on the same mount and will need to have two copies of ...

Anti Dew Heater Control location

Hi Robin, I have just purchased the ASI2600 and read that it had a anti dew heater that could be switched on or off I have discovered the control for this in Sharpcap and it is under the misc controls tab which I must confess to having not opened before so now wonder if the heater is controllable on...

Re: ASI2600 and Dark Frames

Hi Robin, Thanks for that, I have taken that approach and am currently 48 hours in to the dark frame capture cycle, Astro Pixel Processor can also do dark frame scaling and I have bias master frames at 0 and 100 as that is the two gain settings I will probably use. As this is a new camera and colour...

ASI2600 and Dark Frames

Hi I have just purchased the ASI2600MC-PRO and have run the sensor calibration and am now in the process of considering dark libraries. Having had a play there is no discernible amp glow which is one of the features of this sensor. On my ASI1600 I have to shoot darks for each of the exposure + gain ...

Stellarium Ascom Telescope Native Support

Hi Not sure if anyone is using Stellarium (as I did not like CDC) as there mount pointing software but you used to have to use Stellarium scope as well for Ascom compatability but with the release of 19.3.1 it now directly connects to Ascom without Stellarium scope. Have tried it out the other night...

Re: IC443 Jellyfish Nebula

Thanks Brian, I am lucky in that sense as other than houses and the observatory is towards the middle of the surrounding homes I am unobstructed for 360 degrees and when the telescope lifts out of the roof on the frame I made it is about 10 ft up in the air so I get a reasonable amount of sky. Also ...
