Re: Folder Monitor Camera overblown histogram...
Sure thing.

Here's a random .FIT from a recent stack.
I bet you're right. I don't think it was doing this on images captured with SGP.

Folder Monitor Camera overblown histogram...
When I open an image using the Folder Monitor Camera... the histogram is NOT what the actual image histogram is. These .fits when opened in any other program show the histogram barely off the left side but in Sharpcap it's opening as seen in the attachment. The images were captured using Voyager on ...

Re: SharpCap 3.2 Beta now available
Ah, okay yes that worked! I was selecting the other button "All .fit files". When I select that button, new .fit files in the folder don't get added to the livestack (though they do show up in the camera controls list on the camera control panel). **break break** I re-installed the beta. W...

Re: SharpCap 3.2 Beta now available
Robin, Playing with it a bit, the real issue that makes it clunky is I can't "pin" the livestack settings window to anything but the bottom of the screen. If it could "pin" to the side of the Camera Control Panel window, it wouldn't be floating "on top" but rather would...

Re: Dithering Feature & Settings
Lemme give that a try..... yup, that worked! Not sure what I did to the masterdark before but thanks!
Also, sorry about putting this in the wrong spot. You can delete it since it's off-topic. I got lost in my browser tabs.

Re: Dithering Feature & Settings
Oh, one more piece of feedback (or perhaps I'm doing it wrong? I couldn't get this to work on the live version of SharpCap either). I am trying to add dark and flat frames to my preprocessing, but when I select my masterdark or masterflat file I made (in Pixinsight) an error dialog comes up titled &...

Re: SharpCap 3.2 Beta now available
Robin, I am really enjoying the new features in the Beta and for the most part they work pretty good. My absolute favorite is the Folder Monitor Camera, though I might be using it in an unintended way! On my imaging computer, I like to set up my image sequences to be "hands off" and use Se...
