Darks and Deepskystacker
I mostly use DSS to stack my images. I used the darks and flats feature of Sharpcap Pro to create averaged dark and flat files. However they're not properly compensating for amp glow when used in DSS. In fact, the more images i add to my stack ,the worse the amp glow gets. If i manually create darks...

Just to update on this - I unticked the setting in Sharpcap and now DSS finds dozens to hundreds of stars.

Astrodude - the setting is in Sharpcap.
I had it on, and it probably explains why my images were unstackable!

Robin - I realised I didn't need to rerun the analysis so tested with 3.2.5718 and can confirm the issue seems to be solved - thanks !

Hi Robin that wasn't quite what I was asking :) Initially I ran sensor analysis, went straight to smart histogram, and the 'brain' icon was present. All fine. I then exited Sharpcap and went back in and the brain icon had vanished. Arg. It looked like Sharpcap was losing the analysis on exit. Howeve...

According to the docs, sensor analysis is supposed to be saved.
I've tried a few times now, but it never seems to save it !
Is there some trick to this?
