Re: Folder Monitor Camera and Live Stacking

Sorry to chime in, but some thoughts that might help... Hi Robin, Thanks for fast reply! Yes a weird issue. After your testing it sounds like a unique case limited to my setup, so thanks for digging deeper into it! The camera can be managed remotely via HTTP GET and I control it with powershell on w...

I find that things aren't reliable if I connect a camera to the Renesas controller - things like timeouts downloading frames, random hangs...

Re: Connecting multiple ZWO cameras

Really glad to hear that we’ve got you up & running, Bill

Guys, I would strongly recommend that disabling power saving should be the first step, not even in debugging, but in normal setup - as it doesn’t produce just a single symptom, but a host of undesirable behaviours that are hard to explain...

Re: Connecting multiple ZWO cameras

Robin, Bill,
this rescan can readily be caused by Windows default power management strategy for USB hubs, hence my previous recommendation to disable this “feature” - I, too, wondered why things were repeatedly coming & going, when I obviously hadn’t changed anything...

Re: Multiple ZWO Cameras

Bill, this sounds like USB chipset compatibility issues, to me - I’ve had this battle - particularly as you note you have only 1 USB3 port, but several USB2s: older chipsets tend to be not very good combined with new USB3 cameras - I’ve found that only the Intel chipset on my motherboard is reliable...

Re: Request remember window sizes

Hi, Robin, sorry for the delay in responding: I checked your reply to (a), and it does, so long as it's on my primary screen, but I run 2 copies open on my second screen (one for each camera), so I guess when I close these down, it tries to make sense of the numbers, and they're a bit awkward (it's ...

Request remember window sizes

Robin, would it be difficult to:- a) make opening of the main window at full screen size, or last used size, or less than full screen, a user selection option, please? b) remember the width set for the Camera control panel, when it's configured to auto-hide (between invocations, that is - I find the...

[Fixed - 3.2.5696] v3.2.5678 filter box selection problem

Hi, Robin, when I've just started my 2 SharpCap capture windows, re-sized them, and dragged them onto my 2nd screen, selected ZWO ASI071MC, and previewing started, I experienced a problem selecting the correct filter - it just didn't see the clicks in the Manual filter wheel panel, remaining on the ...

Re: Plans for SharpCap 3.2

Robin,
sorry to pitch in a new request at this stage, but would it be possible to either make the text colours on the histogram pane (mean & SD) adjustable, or even just to lighten the primary blue - dark blue on black really isn’t easy to read...?
Thanks,
Carl
