Thats a genius approach. Flip after Dark is sensational and I think it won't interfere with Bayer matrix on the colour cameras either. Thank you very much, great job!
Cheers,
Renato

Re: Flip
Hi Robin,
Would it be possible to include the flip function for the QHY-174 camera in the upcoming software release?
Thank you,
Renato Langersek

Histogram
Hi there,
Would you consider reducing the current histogram sample window a little to exclude the Time Stamp brightness? Also, when using the QHY-174 GPS camera, the GPS data show up in the current histogram as a line pattern.
Thank you
Renato

Re: Horizontal banding in image
Hi Robin, Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, that was easy enough to start recording and after that to start the pre-processing sequence. One thing though, it looses the first frame, but I think that's not too critical. Could you please add the procedure in the user manual? I think that would help...

Re: Horizontal banding in image
Hi Robin, I was able to look at some comet images I took with a QHY174 a few weeks ago. Your method shows nicely how the bands disappear using the Band Suppression 35 and Threshold 10 on my pre recorded files with the Folder monitor Camera. Unfortunately, I can's find a reference how to save the out...

Ghost image alignment
Hi there, I would like to suggest the use of a Ghost image (image from a previous session) for alignment purposes. The previous image could be blended as a transparency or blinked in a suitable interval. When the two images merge into one alignment is achieved and the current imaging session could b...

Re: Livestack save as TIF option
Hi there,
I also agree that a save a DeBayered RAW as 32 bit TIF would make post processing much easier. Could you please add this feature.
Cheers,
Renato

Re: Maximum fps for ASI-174MM
Thanks everyone, I still have limitations. I wonder if I can speed up by using a dedicated USB3 card.

Maximum fps for ASI-174MM
Hi, Last night I was testing my ASI-174MM and discovered that the maxumum fps I could get capturing full frame images was about 128 fps. That corresponds to the maximum speed for the camera's 12 bit ADC. Using the 10 bit ADC the camera is supposed to be able to capture 164 fps. I could not find any ...
