Hi,
Yes connecting the usb nfocuser to Ascom Device Hub then connecting SharpCap to that Device Hub focuser did work!
No more error messages or SharpCap freezing - thanks for the idea.

Unfortunately none of those drivers work with my hardware or system for various reasons. Versions 6.0.7 - 6.0.0 won't connect to my hardware and version under 6 are asking for Ascom platform 5! I have a different version of controller - I own this version here: https://www.rigelsys.com/crayfordmotornfocus.html
On this controller the driver is 5.0.5 latest. But I did try the drivers to the nstep and it's not compatible to the controller I have.

Yes I have the latest drives installed. I did install an old version of SharpCap 3.2.6433 and the focuser works with no problems so I think something has been changed in the newer SharpCap code. I could just use old version of SharpCap but unfortunately it tries to run my latest camera in direct sho...

Hi, In SharpCap version 4.1.11433 I connect my GCUSB-nFOCUS it works for about 10 seconds in this time the focuser moves and the readout also changes. Then I get an error that read error while trying to connect .... details unknown name. Out side of SharpCap the focuser works fine with the driver/so...

Hi the gain value recorded from the senor analysis test. Is that the same value when setting gain in the camera control area? e.g 300 gain value from test result is that the same as 300 on the gain slider when setting the gain before capture?
