Robin,
I just wanted to let you know that my issue was definitely caused by flexture. I secured my usb cables and carefully rotated by ra axis and got it as close to 0 as I could. PHD2 mirrored my PA after a full worm cycle !
Thanks

Re: Different polar align results
I'm definitely going to make sure to secure my camera usb next time out. My question really more about why does the pa error in PhD fluctuate during the guide assistant? My Dec will be basically flat the entire 2 minutes while I'm running the assistant, my ra will slowly rise. Is it PE or what?

Re: PA and PHD2
I can't see how cone error would affect sharpcap because its using the plates to make a circle.

Re: Different polar align results
I have a question. Why is it I can have zeros across the board in sharpcap but when I run the guide assistant in PHD2 the pa error will jump around like crazy? I usually only run it for about 2 minutes but in that time frame it can go from less than 1 arc minute to over 10?

Format for Lat/Long for refraction correction
I'm not sure that I understand the format for putting in lat and long for atmospheric refraction correction. Is it just Degrees / minutes and leave off the seconds? So for example 84.00W 39.00N instead of 39.000000 -84.000000 ? Also why does Geolocate put me out in the middle of the ocean?

Re: Disable Overscan
I actually just took out a pair of calipers and my sensor is not centered. I've never noticed that... : ( why in the world would it be off center. Would that effect my guiding and polar alignment ?
its an ASI120mm usb 2.0 version. It's strictly used for guiding and polar alignment right now.

Disable Overscan
Is there a way to disable overscan? I've been trying to use sharpcap along with the circle overlay to center my secondary but the overscan moves the apparent center of the image.

Re: Can't auto update
I just used windows defender since I only use this laptop for mount control and image acquisition. Ive been manually upgrading for a while now lol. Was just hopeful you could figure out the problem : )

Re: DSLR functionality
My main reason for wanting DSLR functionality is for plate solving. I don't care for the way BYEOS and astro taco work together ( I know its astrotortilla ).
