SharpCap User Manual for 3.3

Just wondering if there are any plans to update the SharpCap User Manual for version 3.3. By the way, I think the manual for version 3.2 is excellent, and I have learned quite a bit from it. Keep up the great work.

Re: Beginners Workflow for Live Stacking plus focus and target Tips

Thanks for the response. The main purpose of my question was to try to figure out how you determine the optimum value of exposure vs gain. From my understanding, you basically increase the exposure time and back off on gain bit by bit so as to progressively decrease the noise. Eventually, you must r...

Re: SharpCap Pro Not Slewing Mount Correctly using Celestron Starsense

Hello Robin, It seems that the problem has reappeared. I have no idea why. Attached is the extended log file that you requested earlier. Hopefully, it will help track down the problem. The procedure I followed was the same as before, that is I connected to the the mount and then slewed the mount nor...

SharpCap Pro Not Slewing Mount Correctly using Celestron Starsense

SharpCap Pro Not Slewing Mount Correctly using Celestron Starsense Hello. I am currently using SharpCap to control an Orion Sirius mount (Skywatcher/SynScan) using the Celestron StarSense alignment accessory with the SynScan adapter (as a consequence, I'm also using the Celestron mount driver). Re: Recommendations on guide scope and camera

Hello Stephen,

I forgot to mention that I use the ASI120MM Mini as a guide camera. It works pretty good and is only $150
