Hi Robin,
Thank you very much for the clear and concise explanation about how the LCG/ HCG and Gain work in SharpCap Vs other applications such as NINA. It now makes perfect sense and is what I though it would be but wanted validation.
Many Thanks and Best Regards
Dilip

Re: Hypercam 294C PRO TEC - Sharpcap HCG mode
I use both SharpCap and N.I.N.A. with a Hypercam 294C. In this context I saw a NINA article [link below] which confused me! It was about the use of the HGC [High Conversion Gain] switch in NINA and also refer to the implementation in SharpCap. If I understand it correctly then when the HGC switch is...

Thanks Brain. I though that this might be the case. But it was worth exploring.

Re: Connect to an INDI camera
Hi I have been considering using a Raspberry Pie based (EKOS/ Stellarmate) to control my set up and wondered if there was any movement in SharpCap accessing the Raspberry Pie remotely and using INDI drivers? Altair GPCAM DSO Imaging
I have recently bought a GPCAM2 which I have used to image the Moon, Venus and a very challenged video of Mars. All using Sharpcap 2.9 I however have not been able to figure out how to image Deep sky objects. I don't expect them to be brilliant but AltairAstro claim you can do this. Any tips or sugg...
