Re: ZWO 533 Issues
Something that I did and quite by accident too. MY QHY 163 Camera uses USB 3 SpeedSpeed. And while my PC has USB 3, it's not the SuperSpeed variety. Out of sheer desperation, I connected a USB 2 relay cable between the camera and the PC. Oddly enough, it works! I found out that these extension cable...

Re: How do you go about using SC's custom windowing and button features
Thanks, Robin. I'll give Visual Studio a try and see what happens.

How do you go about using SC's custom windowing and button features
I see programs here that use such, but they tend to be quite lengthy and make it hard to understand and follow what is going on.
Is there a simple tutorial that explains the process?
Thanks!

Re: Cool little tip.
It was a case where I typed in "how to list all the modules installed in Python" and the answer was way too simple.
Then, of course, getting help- for the individual modules is a breeze.

Cool little tip.
While it can be painfully obvious how to do this, but it's news to me and maybe to you as well. You can find all of the modules used in SharpCap's scripting program by typing help('modules') . Further information about an individual module can then be found by typing help(" module_name ") .

How do you integrate SharpCap commands with Visual Studio?
I switched over to Visual Studio to see if I could work around some of the limits of SharpCap's scripting tool. Very nearly have that problem licked if only I knew how to get the SharpCap scripting commands imported. Any thoughts on the matter? What I'm seeing is a warning message - "SharpCap&q...

Re: Finding com ports programmatically in SharpCap?
Ah-ha!
I'm not a programmer, so stuff like .NET or C# is way beyond me.
As it is, I'm barely understanding Python.
Thanks, Robin.

A SharpCap Iron Python Console feature that would be nice to have.
A "Save As" button for new programs. I overwrote a program thinking that it was a new file. Bad on me, but having a Save As feature would be nice.
