question about focusing scores
When using the focusing tools like FWHM or Multi-Star FWHM, do the scores signify current resolution in say, arcseconds? Or are they just a calculated score and lower is better? I did read the manual but didn't see anything about what the scores mean other than lower is better. I ask because I am us...

Thank you Robin for the quick turn around. I apologize that I was snippy and rude. I was frustrated when I posted.

focusing support is completely hosed
Robin, had issues with an EAF focuser attached via ASCOM. Sharpcap wouldnn't move the focuser. The buttons would grey out. Saw that someone else reported it and there was a new version. Installed SharpCapInstall-4.1.11939.0-64bit and its no better. Focus buttons are still greyed out. The multi-star ...

Re: Sharpcap 4.1 crashes opening any ZWO camera
LoL Yay me! I saw the missing DDL on the thread from the user with a QHY camera but wasn't sure if it applied to my case. I will grab it and check this week-end.
Thanks Robin.
Thanks Robin.

Re: Sharpcap 4.1 crashes opening any ZWO camera
Ok, I will send the link to the log file via the contact form. The application crashes out before the bug report fully populates (and it goes with it). All I did was launch SharpCap and then try to open a camera (ASI 183MC or ASI 120MM). Then it crashes. FWIW, I can open the cameras in ZWO's softwar...

Sharpcap 4.1 crashes opening any ZWO camera
Robin. downloaded Sharpcap 4.1.11711.0 on Windows 11. If I open any ZWO camera, I get a .dll error and it exits. I saw the other thread on QHY camera's but that didn't apply. I can open the camera's using ZWO's own software and with ASCOM. I have updated the ZWO camera drivers and ASCOM drivers and ...

Way to stop live stacking after X failed frames in sequencer?
Is there a way in the sequencer to stop the Live stack function if it can't align after some number of frames? I have a script that runs through a bunch of targets and when done, parks the scope at its home position. Last night, it was running through the targets and got to one that it couldn't alig...
