Re: Sensor Analysis for DSLR
Thanks for this info Robin. I just remembered that I didn't end up using my iPad for this analysis, I have some professional LED lighting panels I use for videography and I just put a diffuser on it. So I shouldn't have been getting variations in illumination levels. Now I'm even more curious where ...

Re: Sensor Analysis for DSLR
Hi Robin, Resurrecting a bit of an old thread here but ran a sensor analysis for my Canon R5 DSLR using the ASCOM Camera Driver, took quite a while since the raw files are quite large. Used a fairly new iPad with a diffuser to get the right exposure for a consistent light source, also didn't have an...

Re: Supporting RAW formats from newer Cameras
Hi Robin, thanks for the reply! Completely understand regarding the difficulty of implementing this feature. APT in its current state only saves CR2 files to a TIFF format. I have a request to see how hard it would be to update this setting to include CR3 so we'll see! Unfortunately another road blo...

Supporting RAW formats from newer Cameras
So I'm on the fence in regards to purchasing SharpCap Pro, however my biggest gripe is I cannot properly use my awesome Canon R5 mirrorless camera with the current version. Even with the ASCOM DSLR drivers, they do not support the newer cr3 format files from Canon (last release was from almost two y...
