Just wanted to say the new SharpCap plate solver is brilliant. Solves almost instantly and "unable to solve" messages are non existent!

Robin, Thanks for the response. I am still a bit confused. It appears to me that the templates for V. 9464 and V. 9431 are set up the same. Why does one work and the other does not? Thank you for the reply. Good info especially setting save/reset/restore. I will have to look into the viewtopic more often.
I will attempt to get you screen shots of V.9431 and 9441. Just have to relearn how to do that.

Robin, Thanks for the quick reply. I looked at V 9455 and saw that it was not recognizing my external drive in filesnames so OK and Apply tabs were greyed out. I could not get the external drive to be found. I went back to V 9441 - still no luck. Then I started working thru a series of older revs -V...

Settings issue
I downloaded Version 4.0.9455 a couple of days ago. Started up SharpCap last night and in File>Settings the OK, Apply, Cancel options were greyed out and I could not input and save setting changes. Went back to Version 4.0.9357 and all was normal.

Robin, It appears all is good with my SharpCap again. Followed your directions and no issues with out of memory errors even with full res pictures. Being in the mood to update software/firmware I even updated all my CEM120 firmwares with no issues. Thanks again for you help and swift responses. John...
