Hi Alberto, I think the problem is that until you have completed the initial alignment process (selecting the two stars, centering them, confirming on the handset, etc), the co-ordinates that SharpCap receives from the mount may not be correct, which could throw off the plate solving process. hello I get the error messages : communication timeout or : no device found in both cases my camera seems to work well what does it mean and what shall I do ? I already tried to disconnect the camera and to close and restart Sharpcap as suggested thanks in advance for your support bye Alberto

Hi Brian actually the angle between Alpharetz and HD212212 is higher than 15° so I am dojng something wrong with my mount even though the orientation is not accurate, I used a compass, the "North level" method should not cause a so big error bye Alberto
