Re: Repeat for list of Alt/Az coordinates in file...

Robin, Thanks for you reply. While I need to do more testing, I think if I order the steps in the sequence in a somewhat non-intuitive way, having the GOTO for the repeats is not an issue. I am having lots of fun puzzling this out. It looks like I can test the alignment script in the daytime using S...

Repeat for list of Alt/Az coordinates in file...

I have been working on a script that I would like to repeat for each of a list of alt/az coordinates however it seems like implicit in this sequence command is that it will execute a GOTO the coordinate before doing the other steps listed in the sequence. I can appreciate that in most cases, if you ...

Re: Subroutine setup and execution

Robin,
Thanks for your response. No rush on my part on the "smart" dropdown. Just wanted to confirm I was not missing something obvious (which I have done several times in the last few weeks working in the script/sequencer).

Re: Subroutine setup and execution

Hopefully not wearing out my welcome here, but another question: I am trying to use the "import subroutines" call in the sequence editor but I can't figure out how to refer to the imported subroutine...it would seem like it should show up in the drop down for the "run subroutine previ...

Program changes subroutine in sequence...Possible?

Given that the sequencer can call a program as one of the steps in the sequence, would it be possible for the program that is called to modify a subroutine script that is later called in the sequence? It appears that the sequences and the subroutine are simple text files and could be fairly easily m...

Re: Move mount Alt/Az - Tracking must be off?

Just tried setting the tracking rate name to "none" and then commanded the Alt/Az move and it it worked a treat. Thanks again!

Re: Move mount Alt/Az - Tracking must be off?

Robin,

Thanks again for your help. I didn't see that set tracking rate could be set to none. Off to experiment.

Move mount Alt/Az - Tracking must be off?

I could use some help understanding this behavior of the sequencer. When I try to do a sequence step that moves the mount (it is an equatorial mount) to an Alt/Az coordinate, I incur an error indicating that the tracking on the mount must be off. If I turn the mount tracking off and then execute the...
