I tried everything to fix to no avail. Factory reset did the job and reinstalling everything.

I found the cause on a hunch. All the folders are read only! But I can't seem to remove the issue.

Thx for all your help Robin! I successfully moved the desktop and still got the following. I tried C:\ sharpcap captures to no avail:

System restore did not fix the issue!
Help! I can't get captures like these until fixed

Thx Robin for your prompt reply! I have a folder on Laptop desktop "Sharpcap Captures". This worked until last night with Sharpcap creating a subfolder by date with disk space a plenty. Could a Windows update have changed settings(I will check the logs too)?

Last night was locked on target ready to shoot and I got a message re insufficient disk space so no capturing would happen. When I checked filenames tab, Sharpcap would only save images to OneDrive. I could not change this. Why???????? Help!!

How on earth do I get the histogram to move from the far left??????????????????? I have r/g/b sliders fully to the right. Brightness, gain do nothing!! In using my QHY5III174 C (on the usb3 lead it came with plugged straight into the laptop), the brightness of an object I am imaging fades after 30 mins, so I have to constantly increase brightness. This happens regardless of 30 secs or 5 min subs. Is this a USB traffic thing (setting)?? I want to be...
