These are my settings for plate solve in 4.0 and 4.1

I created an export settings file from my 4.0 plate solve settings and tried to import into 4.1.

all it did was set 4.1 to the default Sharpcap search engine and none of the settings in 4.1 now match my 4.0

Post this test I have re-entered the settings manually so that they match and pictures taken

tried again last night but still no joy.
New message XYLIST Field appears along with try more gain and exposure no stars found.

Closing 4.1 and opening 4.0 with 8 seconds exposure solves and syncs first time.

Anything I can do to help resolve this?

Thanks for the reply and you are correct in that I had 4.0 using the cygwin_ansvr where as the 4.1 was set to Sharpcaps own plate solving engine. I have changed 4.1 to match the 4.0 settings so just need a clear night to test I think what fooled me was the self test in 4.1 reporting all was good. Ei...

Yes the files for the 0.25 have been downloaded. I will look again to see what the differences are between 4.0 and 4.1. Any clues in the log file that might point to a solution?
