Re: Two questions about "Mount SolveAndSyns" in sequence editor
Hello, Thought I’d ask here rather than start a new thread. I am able to plate solve in Nina, but it always fails in SharpCap and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. All my settings seem correct, mount is connected, scope is 50mm at fl of 200 with asi 120mc-s, so field of view is sufficient. I ...

Sensor analysis transfer
Hello, I found in the forums the two ways to copy the sensor analysis data on my laptop. I copied them, but when I head over to my new laptop and search for the folders, I have no luck. I have tried both methods without success. I have added my license key. I have not hooked up any cameras to the pr...

Yes thanks!
I will be starting with your tutorial on live stacking with an h halpha filter on an as yet undetermined object.
Can’t wait.
Take care

Re: QHY Driver
Hello Robin,
Great news! I was able to get the camera and the filterwheel to work in Sharpcap using the USB cable. Your advice along with help from QHY made it all happen.
I do appreciate all the time taken.
Have a nice weekend.

Yes. Bootcamp does work fine. I will just explore that route for this machine.

Re: QHY Driver
Hello Robin,
Just wondering if you recall anyone in any of your forums using Parallels with Sharpcap and if they had success or problems with this QHY filterwheel. I guess I am trying to see if others had similar experiences with this hook up.
Take care,
Arthur

Re: QHY Driver
Yes thanks, I am thinking it's something in Parallels since it all works fine in Bootcamp, so I imagine it's fine on a real PC. I am just hoping to avoid the expenditure but may end up going there in the end, particularly as Apple is moving away from using Windows compatible chipsets. So it goes. I ...

Re: QHY Driver
Hello Robin, I am sorry to say, but it is just not working in parallels. I do load Sharpcap after the I am still getting the com port is empty error. Even the driver is now not highlighted, which it was the other day, regardless of things being plugged in or not. (see screen shot). Ports .png I have...

Re: QHY Driver
Hello Robin, Sadly, switching the settings to None leaves me with the same error message; that is, the filterwheel is not found. I am starting to think it is a Parallels issue given that it all works fine in Bootcamp. Hmmm. Running it via the USB I also receive an error message but this one is a Dri...

Re: QHY Driver
Hi Robin, Thank you for this response. You are a very busy man with all these responses. I appreciate your time. Oddly, I do use the RJ 11 and 4 pin connector. Not sure why it does not work. I loaded the driver for the COM and tried using the filter wheel via USB instead of the 4-pin connector. Inte...
