Thanks Robin - I realized later I was using my full frame camera instead of my APS-C ZWO (on its way to Texas for the eclipse). I will adjust the memory settings.

Sharpcap crashes in Planetray Stack
Hi, I am using the latest version of 4.1 (64bit) 11947 and I have been doing some stacking work on the moon. While in stacking mode Sharpcap crashes when pressing Save to PNG and a couple of times when I turned of imaging brightness check box. Attached is my log from the last crash. I will start it ...

Re: New Feature : SharpSolve - SharpCap's new built-in plate solver
Corner case - planetary imaging suggestion. I have a 2415mm Dall Kirkham reflector and when I use my ASI678MC (2mu) camera the platesolve has a lot of misses but with my ASI2600 (3.76mu) it works well. In the description notes on the tool it mentions that for >2000mm scopes the use of an APS-C level...

Live Planetary Stacking
Hi Robin, I tested the Live Planetary Stacking and had some great results with it - many thanks for the feature. There was a problem when resizing the stacked ROI area in the tool - blew up Sharpcap and it said it would send a report back to the SC mothership. That repeated a few times so I hope you...

Re: Quad Index was empty errors with plate solving after goto
Thanks Robin - will test again tonight. I also double checked the iOptron Commander ASCOM setup and the camera pixel size and scope settings were empty so the bleeding obvious - I stuffed up...

Quad Index was empty errors with plate solving after goto
I was doing some gotos last night and nearly all my goto plate solves did not work. I kept getting an error like Quad index was empty so I am wondering if the internal platesolve DB was empty. Prior to last night I had a power issue with the system it is running on and I had some crashes. At that ti...

Re: Latest version blows the compter up
Thanks Robin, per your suggestions:- - am revisiting the power supply as there seems to be a few errors in the Windows logs around that. - am checking the Prolific driver with the iOptron Commander but disabled the mount in Settings and still had the issue. I thought it may be the iOptron Commander ...

Latest version blows the compter up
Hi, I have sev 1 situation with the the latest SC 4.1 (11251) in that every time I connect to a camera and then run Polar Alignment the whole system (OS) crashes and the only way to start the system is pull the power and then turn it on. The Shaprcap logs are 0 bytes so nothing to see there but the ...
