Re: lunar live stack

No it was not zoomed in. It was weird. I was playing around with it live. I'm really loving this feature.
Check from here if you can figure it out: https://www.youtube.com/live/iodyqUmBfH ... CoG&t=7629

Re: lunar live stack

Hi, use the little cross at the top-right of the planetary live stacking area to close the tool (works for any tool that shows at the bottom) - as highlighted below Screenshot 2024-01-29 111017.jpg If you use the little pin to the left of the cross then it will hide the stacking tool away at the bo...

My feedback testing on Jupiter: APPROVED!

Tested with moon: fail
Sun: failed

CONGRATS!

Can't wait to see SC doing similar things on DSO's...

Re: New platesolver

No, i just updated ascom after this issue. I'm not sure what happened. I was playing with sharpcap and stellarium and i remember to run an ascom diagnosis at the same time. Maybe that could cause it. I was a bit anxious to get this new platesolver working and as i was with clouds and a barlow it was...

Re: New platesolver

I just updated ASCOM to the new version and now it appeared again in the telescope config in stellarium and also on sharpcap instead of an error, it opens the ascom window. It was ascom fault. I suppose it will be fine now. Sorry for blaming sharpcap but was a weird coincidence and first time that h...

Re: New platesolver

yeah i know but the ASCOM option disapeared and it's weird because i still use an older stellarium version which has been working fine. Meanwhile i see sharpcap fails to connect to ascom so i will try to reinstall ascom, can be there the issue i don't know. May be a coincidence to happen right after...

New platesolver

Works fine as well as astap, both with the push-to feature. However, now stellarium can't connect through virtual telescope to sharpcap and in the stellarium telescope settings the ASCOM disappeared. I would like to still have that backup system to use when needed. When connecting in sharpcap, after...

Re: ROI suggestions

admin wrote: Fri Jun 02, 2023 12:54 pm Hi,

keyboard shortcuts for moving the ROI make sense - I will look into it.
Desperately need this. I think it's the only moment i get stressed with SP, trying to keep the planet clicking in super small Pan and Tilt arrows.
Please please please....

Re: Hot Pixels

Hi, also, to add to Menno's answer... In recent versions of SharpCap the 'Subtract Dark' dropdown has a 'Hot Pixel Removal Only' option which you can use without needing dark frames. An extra slider will appear allowing you to tune the strength of the hot pixel removal (which you should do before y...
