Re: ASI2400MC
Robin, What are ZWO flip controls? Is that to do with meridian flips? If so, no worries. I use a Planewave L-350 mount that does not require meridian flips (at least so far as I know). I have a cdk 14 on the mount with a QHY600m and filter wheel for AP, but I thought if I get an ASI2400MC to swap ou...
Re: ASI2400MC
Thanks Robin, I assume using an ROI would also help? If I do use an ROI can I still use the full-frame flat and dark, or do I have to make a set of correction frames with the same ROI? Thanks again,

ASI2400MC
I realize that this depends to some extent on my scopeside pc (Minisforum GK50, N5030 Gemini Lake processor with 8 GB RAM), but are there image size limitations in Sharpcap? Any issues with a 26 MPixel ASI2400 MC? I'm not too worried about stacking keeping up since I can increase exposure time and r...

Re: Live stacking RGB with mono camera
Not sure if this would be an easier way out, but I think Jocular can do this by monitoring a folder that has the R,G and B (maybe L too?) subs. This might avoid having to modify the live stacking interface. Anyway, just a thought. I have not moved to jocular because of all of the other capabilities ...

Thanks Robin, any thought as to adding this capability in the future?

Live stacking RGB with mono camera
Is it possible, perhaps with the folder monitor, to live stack a color image using a mono camera and RGB filters in a filter wheel? This has probably been asked before, but I have not been able to find anything searching the forums. Thanks,
Broz

Re: Live High Dynamic Range viewing
Thanks Robin, it sounds like something that wouldn't work particularly well for live stacking. Just a thought.

Live High Dynamic Range viewing
Robin,
Have looked at the work done on variable gain for high dynamic range targets (LHDR - https://astronomytechnologytoday.com/20 ... amic-range although you might need a subsription to open the page).

Re: bias and dark fat greyed out in flat capture
Robin, that worked - thanks. Unless I missed it probably worth mentioning in the documentation about this. I was pretty puzzled in spite of lots of searches for the problem. Again, thanks.
