Re: Recent change in "Target Name" field behavior
I fully agree that it would be desirable to be able to "Put the target name in, hit "enter," and it would use that folder for any saved stacks from then on. With that functionality, you could put the target name in either before or after you start live stacking and any saved stacks wo...

Re: Capturing darks when using ROI
Hi Robin,
I suspected that something like that would be the case for binning. Thanks for considering using ROI for darks at some point.

Howard

Re: Capturing darks when using ROI
Hi Robin,
To add another wrinkle: would it also be possible to construct an on-the-fly dark from a full frame dark for use if binning is turned on?

Howard

Re: Capturing darks when using ROI
Hi Robin, I've been meaning to ask about this subject, but for deep sky imaging I use a ZWO ASI183MC for deep sky objects, part of the time full frame 5496x3672 and part of the time (near) half frame 2752x2754 pixels. It's been a constant annoyance to need to capture darks for both sizes at all of t...

Re: User defined keyboard shortcuts
Hi Robin,
Not quite as elegant as if you could come up with a way to let the user define a hotkey and then associate the hotkey to run a script, but that would work and I'd love to see it.
Thanks for considering it!

Howard

User defined keyboard shortcuts
Hi Robin, I'd love to create a few of my own keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys). For example I'd like to have hotkeys to do "Zoom Auto", "Zoom 100%" and "Zoom 50%". It looks like I could probably create Ironpython scripts to do such activities and assign them to new buttons, ...

Re: Format of Darks question
Hi Robin,
But does it matter whether darks are saved as .png instead of .fits?

Re: Live Stack - Save and reset every x minutes
OK, thanks for the quick answer, Robin.
You might want to make a note to add a sentence or two to this effect in the next revision of the user manual.

Format of Darks question
Hi Robin, I just noticed that all of the Darks I take are saved in .png format instead of .fits format. This seems to happen even if I turn off Auto for Output Format and specifically specify .fits output format, and seems to happen for both RAW8 and RAW16 color space. But the Sharpcap 3.2 User Manu...
