QHY 268M Temp Control Bug
Having some issues with temp control with 268M. Works great if 0C or below, if setpoint is above 0C, the control doesn't seem to try to achieve the goal, right now, it's set at 1C and the control applies 60-70% of the max power and levels out at 6-7C. This makes darks tricky as the temperature is no...

Re: QHY294MPRO-GAIN OFFSET ISSUE
Hi Robin, I'm having a strange issue with a loaner camera from QHY (I had to send back my 294M). It says on the side that it's mono camera but sharpcap recorgnizes it as the 294C. Is this a common issue, it seems to be causing a lot of confusion with the processing side of things for me. Any help on...

Re: Automatic mount flip
Thank Robin, I managed to achieve pretty much a full automation process using the attached scs file. Now and then though it runs an error stating that it cannot take two captures at once, probably need to just add a stop capture somewhere.
Hope this helps someone looking to try this.

Re: Automatic mount flip
Any news on this? I thought of a semi-auto process that might work for most celestron mounts. Just add a stop capture at a certain distance from meridian, set the mount to prefer putting the scope on the east side if available up to 20deg from meridian (a setting in the CPI or hand control), then st...

QHY294MPRO-GAIN OFFSET ISSUE
Hi, I have been having some trouble with my QHY294MPRO camera. I tried taking a series of calibration frames last night and also a few nights ago with exactly the same settings. I used a gain of 1600 and an offset of 30 in 16 bit mode and 11MP mode. The first night, I checked the histogram and the t...

Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0
I hope this helps you and others but after much suffering, I finally figured out how to connect to the damn filter wheel with a usb vs the camera cable. This involved luckily coming across their ascom folder within the all in one driver that had the rs232 driver. Once I installed this, the filter wh...

Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0
Do you think the resolution change might be the cause of the dropped frames?

Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0
Thanks Robin. It detects the filter wheel but when I change positions it freezes and stays frozen. I will send a log

Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0
Non of these extras were running, however I have discovered something else. I made a dark library and as I went to apply the calibration frames, it wouldn't let me because the size of the files was different. Sharpcap 4 is taking the photos and clipping them by around 50 pixels on each axis, sharpca...

Re: Reduced frame-rate with SC 3.2.6482.0
I don't think I have any of those running but will check. I tried tonight with sharpcap 3.2 and it worked absolutely fine with this camera, no issues with the filter wheel, no temp control issues, frame rate records just as shown in the preview. It's something different between the versions that's m...
