ASI2600 MC Pro gain value - is 100 the same as 100?
Hi Robin, Query on the ASI2600MC Pro gain, maybe to ZWO camera in general. Could not find the answer in the forums specifically. On sharpcap, I have been using Gain 100 for the HCG mode on this camera by setting the slider at gain 100. That slider goes to 700, whereas in other software is has differ...

Re: Color balance saved to raw data?
Thanks. It is very unfortunate, frankly annoying really. What is the ideal setting so I can avoid this in the future or turn it off entirely? My flats are always monochrome with bias included and I have a separate master bias - it always works perfectly (darks not critical at all for the ASi2600 chi...

Re: Color balance saved to raw data?
to be clear, I am referring to the white, Blue and Red horizontal sliders on the right hand side using this ZWO camera.

Color balance saved to raw data?
I have an ASI2600Mc pro and after 3 nights of imaging I cannot get my flats to work. I had to change the color balance during live view to see anything while running autofocus, but I hope that changes to these sliders did not influence the raw data. Am I expected to note down these slider values suc...

Re: Re-establishing guiding with PHDs and daytime test
My initial focusing run is on a region of dense stars using AltAz coordinates, but I will change those to Ra, Dec since I dont hook up GPS or want to faff with correct elevation etc. For now, assume the AltAz of 70, 90 degrees for initial focus will be Ra,Dec in the final sequence.

Re-establishing guiding with PHDs and daytime test
Hi Robin, I am setting up and advanced sequencer to have two targets imaged sequentially, with the second allowing a meridian flip but re-plate solving once the first part of the session goes beyond meridian (setting my mount to go 15 degrees past). Resolving should get me flipped I assume. Here is ...

Disabling 'guiding required'
I have a mount that does not need guiding to track exposures. I use guiding for dithering mostly. I not have sessions that result in 4 subs out of 60 when sharpcap cancels the session because of clouds that eventually move on. I do not want to use pulse guiding only (the option without guiding that ...

Re: Time out option for sequencer and dithering
That looks like it would be very useful. For summer imaging at least, being able to end a sequence and run the mount parking is important in my opinion, while retaining the option the continue guiding as you say for intermittent cloud cover. It would prevent mount crashes, which is what could happen...

Re: Time out option for sequencer and dithering
I attached what I hope is the correct log file.
When the dawn breaks (although it is before 3am), guiding is lost but (and this is what I do not know), does that prevent the sequence from stopping, parking and warming?
thanks, Colm
