Re: A region in ARA - clusters and clouds
Thanks a lot Tim, I have to learn the use of Livestack, actually I use it to see and verify that I am in exactly the region I want, after I run a sequence. I will try the way you do suggest.

A region in ARA - clusters and clouds
A longer exposure on a region of ARA, Scope Vixen ED80Sf and Mount iOptron CEM70. 100 images of 60" each Guided using ZWO120 and PH2D Images using ZWO294MC Pro and Sharp Cap Processing DSS and PxI+GIMP The only thing I don¿t know still from Sharp Cap is the use of dithering, it will help a lot,...

Re: Wishing well on a short exposure - camera testing.
Thanks Nick, I do enjoy very much wide field images, as you said, the stars are amazing, in colours, formations and many more. Also I noticed that quite often, open clusters are in company of nice colourful background, maybe because they are mostly residing within the galactic disc. Groups of open c...

Wishing well on a short exposure - camera testing.
I have here another short time imaging, now on the Wishing Well open cluster and its neighbour open clusters. I was testing the control of SharCap on a QHY Camera. The main issue is that QHY cameras seems not to have a smooth temperatures control, so I was trying to lower and then rise the temperatu...

Re: Omega Centauri in a very short capture.
Thanks Nick, the cluster is quite luminous, so I am planning a longer exposure, in total, but stacking exposures of no more than 10 to15 seconds each. I have some friends that actually mix, short with long exposures.

Re: Omega Centauri in a very short capture.
Hi Tim, actually what I did was just very slow stretching, manually, and then a very small and highly diffuse mask, just enough to compensate the stretching, so the core could get something like 20% stretch and the outer part the 100%, it was the only way I imagine to create a sort of distribution o...

Re: SharpCap temperature control
Hello, Firstly I apologize for not replying before, so I start saying, thanks a lot for that functionality, yesterday I upgrade the program to the latest stable version, still below 3.3 but we had so many clouds, so no chance to explore it.
Cheers,
Claudio

SharpCap temperature control
Hi, I may be posting here something that has already been discussed elsewhere but I could not find it, Is there any possibility to include in SharpCap a temperature profile to lower the camera temperature rather than doing it manually?, I sort of function? I mean, for example to go from room tempera...

Thanks a lot Robin, I will do a few test trying your suggestion. It is now a bit more clear to me the topic.
