Re: Windows Taskbar function changed?

OK, so maybe reiterating your post, but this is the process to locate the shortcut icon where one would like in the task bar: -SC closed, unpin any instance of a shortcut icon in the taskbar. -Open Sharpcap -Right-click icon that will appear in taskbar and click "Pin to taskbar" -Drag that...

Re: Windows Taskbar function changed?

OK, at least I know I am not being an idiot.

Let me go try to move the icon around and see what happens.

Thanks!

Windows Taskbar function changed?

I just uploaded the latest version. Previously, I could place a shortcut in the taskbar in Windows 10 next to PHD2 and then conveniently click back and forth between the two. Now, when I open Sharpcap, another icon is created at the end of all of my taskbar icons in an inconvenient place, and I keep...

Re: Image scroll bars color/contrast

Got it. Not being an app developer, it sounds like there are UI platforms that one can build in but they come with certain limitations. I do some web site design, and it sounds somewhat analogous to WordPress or a WordPress theme. Thank you for the response! I can certainly make due with it as it is.

Image scroll bars color/contrast

I have a really hard time seeing the image scroll bars on my lap top in the dark because the color of the scroll bars is somewhat close to the rest of the image frame and background colors. I often need to change my viewing perspective relative to the screen to grab them to slide them to check the c...

Plate solve and sync button on right hand panel broken

I tried several times to plate solve and sync with the button on the panel, sent several crash reports.

Worked OK using dropdown menu.

Just downloaded latest beta today.

Re: "Disconnect" Live Stack Histogram from Display Histogram Stretch?

I’ll try the shift-stretch option

Full autostretch seems to be too much

Thanks

"Disconnect" Live Stack Histogram from Display Histogram Stretch?

Is it possible to not have the Display Histogram Stretch affect the Live Stack Histogram? If not, this would be nice, at least as an option, so that I can have one stretch for auto focus, and one to watch my stack without having to re-set the Display Histogram Stretch each time I focus. Thanks for a...

Re: New Feature : Improved Star detection in Multi-star FWHM Focus

Robin-

Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure that this is, in fact, entirely relevant to my issue, but at least I know it could be part of the solution.

Re: New Feature : Improved Star detection in Multi-star FWHM Focus

Hi, at least in SharpCap 4.0, the HFD/FWHM measurement should be relatively insensitive to star shape - let me explain... SharpCap first identifies bright blobs in the image as stars (identifying a bounding rectangle for each that contains all of the star and some surrounding black area). Boxes tha...
