Re: Astro-Physics AP1100 ASCOM Connection Error
Well, I downloaded Version 4 and gave it a try. I had the same issue with SharpCap not connecting to my AP1100. However, today when I launched SharpCap it showed an update to version 4, so I gave it a try. With this latest version, it connected and mostly operated correctly. However, there were a co...

Re: Astro-Physics AP1100 ASCOM Connection Error
Thanks for the response Robin. As I said in the original post, every other program connects and operates perfectly with the AP ASCOM driver. SharpCap is the only program where I have a problem. In fact, it was already connected to Cartes du Ciel when it got this error. I tried it without Cartes du C...

Astro-Physics AP1100 ASCOM Connection Error
Hi, I have a new AP1100 that I am trying to connect to SharpCap. Every time that I connect I get the following error. I am using APCC and all of my other programs (SGP, PHD2, Cartes du Ciel, PEMPro) all connect without issue. SharpCap is the only program that I have every had an issue connection to ...

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
Actually, I had not downloaded the latest version of the 32Bit application. I installed that, and it works fine. Thanks for all of your support!

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
This is with the 294MM. The 1600MM always worked fine. I am not the only person having this problem with the 294MM, as others have commented on the ZWO support site. It started after updating the ZWO drivers.

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
Since I need to use the 32 Bit version for Polar Alignment, there is one bug. If I try to do polar alignment after connecting then disconnecting from the ZWO ASCOM driver via Sequence Generator Pro, I can not get a alignment solve. It appears that if you use the ASCOM connection then go to the Sharp...

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
Thanks for all of the help Robin! I wondered if the error that I get was due to the Celeron processor as the 64bit version does give a warning when I start up. So...yes, I guess that I am stuck until I upgrade that PC. Not really an issue as the main thing that I use SharpCap is to do Polar Alignmen...

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
Thanks Robin. I have attached the two analysis at the new Bin 1x1, and the old Bin 1X1. As you can see, the read noise does behave quite differently, and the camera also lowers to 12 bit from 14 bit. Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
Using the 64 Bit version, I am able to access the higher resolutions. I did a sensor test at Bin 1, and the sensor does behave a bit differently and loses the bump in dynamic range at Gain 120. Also, as noted about, the bit depth drops to 12 from 14 and the dynamic range near unity gain drops from a...

Re: ZWO ASI294MM Pro SDK Update
When will SharpCap modify their driver for the new ASI294MM as their driver will not unlock the higher resolution? In fact, there is now a bug where if I use the ASCOM driver in another application, then come back to the SharpCap and use the SharpCap ZWO driver, the image is stretched horizontally. ...
