Thank you both. Dithering is necessary , is the best method, maybe the only method, to eliminate 'walking noise'. And SharpCap works very very well with Phd2 and dithering. Thank you ! Hi, this is the sensor analysis of my ASI 1600 MM-C, -15°C. I'll try to take photos of M42 with gain 200, offset 50, 10s, 60s and 180s. I am in the middle of a small town with moderate light pollution and good seeing (these nights). What do you think about the gain? Gain 200 is good or i have to use...
