Re: Smart Histogram Values
Very much appreciate the reply and advice, I did notice that the exposure time jumped up quiet a lot if i selected 5% for the Read noise limit Seams best to stick with the 10% value then, that way you get more subs which i am guess will result in less noise when stacked anyway. I will try next time ...

Re: Can i measure Maximum ADU form an image?
Appreciate the reply, I have just ran a single image from M83 that i was imaging a few nights ago to see if i can work out what is going on, I got a bit of a strange looking graph. Camera is asi2600mc, gain is 100, exposure is 180 seconds, offset is 50 I see that i have way too much offset, after ru...

What i would like to do if possible, is to actually find out what the Maximum ADU value is for t...

Re: Help with flat frame setup
Thanks again for putting up with all these questions, it is really appreciated. I did give it a try last night and results were to be honest terrible. I am doing 111 second exposures as per the brain function results, also clicked apply to add all the results for the imaging run So when i did the ca...

Re: Help with flat frame setup
Thanks for the reply and your advice on this, very much appreciated. So basically if i am reading this correct, if am to be say taking 70 second images, I am better of to leave the box labeled Capture and subtract bias frames to correct black level offset in flat unchecked, is this correct? And then...

Re: Difference between smart histogram and live stacking?
Appreciate all and any advice. Yes i was thinking how the dithering might effect the live stacking. As i am currently having a few issues with my calibration frames using the traditional way of stacking and processing, I thought i would give this live stacking a try and see how the results come out....
