Re: SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

Thanks for the workaround suggestion Robin.
I have pointed SVBony support to this thread but have not heard back.

Re: SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

Hi Robin Here are the logs. I plugged the old SV305 in and then started SharpCap. Looks like the SV305 is not being detected by the SVBonyDeviceEnumerator code. Re: SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

Hi Robin I will get that to you soon. Interestingly, I bought a new SV305Pro for the increased speed hopefully for better lucky imaging. SharpCap 4.1 latest detected it first up - it is a USB3 camera, so maybe that makes a difference. I could try a USB2 hub to see if that works I guess. I do have a ...

Re: SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

Hi Robin I had SVBony driver 1.3.6 installed as per details provided in my first two posts (other driver versions do not work at all - both older and newer). I downloaded the latest version of the driver from SVBony's website, this is version 1.12.1 released 30 Nov 2023. I uninstalled 1.3.6 and inst...

Re: SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

Hi again, I decided to install the 32 bit versions figuring they would go to (x86) folder so less chance of conflict. I found out where the native stops working. Version 4.1 32 bit is a no go for any version. Version 4.0 32 bit Build 8682 released 14 Feb 2022 works with SV305 in native mode. Yippee....

SVBony SV305 (Older Non Pro) not natively detected

I have the older SV305 (Non Pro) SVBony camera that used to work natively in SharpCap a couple years ago. With the very latest version(s) of SharpCap it is not detected Natively and even when it is detected its only using a specific older version of the SVBony Drivers (Ver 1.3.6 from around Aug 2020...

Re: Captures fail on the odd occasion

Hi Robin,
I always image with the 12V connected.
I know the flats and dark flats do not need to be the same temp, but I take them all at the same time after the lights so convenient to use the same temp as the lights - which is currently -5 DegC.
Cheers

Re: Captures fail on the odd occasion

Hi Robin,
A full night of imaging tonight.
Took a few sets of Lights then Flats and Dark Flats, not a single issue.
