Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Great thanks, I used the new version this afternoon, but haven't processed the images yet.
I think your second paragraph was intended for Altocumulus.

Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Hi Robin
I've just seen your recent post mentioning " highlight circles sometimes appeared in the captures" and that it's now fixed. Does the fix also apply to the feature tracking cross hairs I mentioned a few days ago?

Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Hi Robin A quick update. I found a further 2 instances in today's session at about 142 mins and 152 mins. As you say and intermittent issue, which I know from bitter experience could be tricky to track down :( I compile the frames into a video using PiPP and VirtualDub, so it's easy to cut out the r...

Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Hi Robin. Sorry for the delay. First an apology, the camera is a ALTAIR178M3, the QHY is my deep sky and solar white light imager. The scope is a Coronado PST. I set up as follows: Colour space - MONO8 Capture area - 3040 x 2048 Output format - fits Exposure - Usually around 300ms depending on condi...

Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Hi Robin. Spring is here and the Sun is now visible most of the day in my garden, so I'm starting to use SharpCap once again to do Time-Lapse imaging of the Sun in Ha. There appears to be a new bug with the Feature Tracking tool, every now and then the cross hairs of feature tracking gets superimpos...

Re: QHY268C SDK Error V4.1.10700
Hi Robin A bit more detail. V4.1.10700 32bit doesn't crash in Raw8 mode, but does in Raw16 or RGB24. V4.1.10700 64bit doesn't crash. I've just installed V4.1.10872 32bit and 64bit. The 32bit version doesn't crash when in Raw8 mode, but does in either Raw16 or RGB24 same as 4.1.10700. The 64bit versi...

Re: QHY268C SDK Error V4.1.10700
Hi Robin
Power cycling the Camera doesn't solve the issue. However, I've just run the 64bit version 4.1.107 and it doesn't crash, so maybe it's a memory issue as you suspect.

Mike

QHY268C SDK Error V4.1.10700
Started Sharpcap 4.1.107 with the Capture area set to 2300x2000 and all was fine. The exception happened when I tried to set the Capture Area to full scale 6280x4210. If I start 4.0.9562 and change the capture area to full scale then try to start 4.1.107 it crashes immediately. This doesn't happen o...
