QHY268C Binning
Hi Robin SharpCap V4 32bit and 64bit There appears to be a bug in binning with the QHY268C camera, images captured in RAW8 or RAW16 at all except 1x1 binninig are monchrome. Images captured in RGB24 at 1x1 and 2x2 are in colour, but 3x3 and 4x4 don't work. In SharpCap V3 32bit it is the same except ...

Re: Sequence file names in V4
Hi Robin That's great news, I look forward to the new release. Re. The Video It was a complete surprise, I didn't see it happening as I'd just left the system capturing images while doing other stuff. So you can imagine my reaction when I viewed the video. As a consequence of not paying attention, r...

Re: Sequence file names in V4
Hi Robin, thanks for the reply. I regularly do sequence capture to create time-lapse videos of the Sun using a Coronado PST, taking an image every 15s for as many hours as is possible. The behaviour in V3 is way more convenient as I can import a single folder into PIPP to create the video. There is ...

Sequence file names in V4
Hi. In V3 if I do a sequence of single frames at, say 1s intervals, all frames are put into a single time stamped folder with increasing index. In V4 if I do the same sequence then each frame is put into a separate time stamped folder with the index fixed at 00001. I have identical file naming in th...

QHY268C Gain values
Hi.
Could someone explain how the 'Gain Value' in sensor analysis corelates to the 'Gain' slider please.
In sensor analysis the Gain Value column goes from 0 to 100, or 0 to 200 depending on the mode, but the Gain slider goes from 0 to 339 in all modes, so it's a bit confusing.
Thanks
Mike

Re: V3.2.6480 Native Altair Camera Drivers Missing
Thanks Robin, I'll give it a go later, but I'm pretty sure I ran 6480 a couple of times and it didn't resolve the issue. A question, if I install the new version in a different folder to 6477 will I be able to switch between the two?

V3.2.6480 Native Altair Camera Drivers Missing
I've just installed V3.2.6480 (Windows 10) and found that my two Altair Cameras are missing, AA183CPRO and ALTAIR290M3. Reinstalled V3.2.6477 and they are back.

Twin Monitors
A couple of suggestions to enhance the Twin Monitor mode: 1. In settings could you add a check box to automatically start the app in twin monitor mode? 2. I use a Laptop with two extra monitors, so three monitors in total, it would be very useful to be able to choose the monitor on to which live vie...
