Re: How to select Camera when using DirectShow?
I see. Thanks. My work around is to disconnect the guider before I start the connection protocol.

Show Polar Alignment bigger
Hi, The polar alignment tool is really great. But it is hard to read, if your Laptop is 2 m away from the telescope, while you adjusting the axis of the mount. It would be great to have the following feature: When I am in the mode, where I need to change RA and DEC manually, I would like to have the...

How to select Camera when using DirectShow?
Hi,
I have two cameras of the same producer (Autoguider and imaging camera). When using ASCOM driver, I can select, which one I want to see. If I select the DirectShow driver, SharpCap selects randomly one of them. How can I select in this scenario the camera manually?
Thanks, Rainer

Re: Automatic mount alignment
Hi all, Thanks for your replies. My idea is to create the point model automatically at the beginning of the session, after a good polar alignment is achieved. With it you should be able to GoTo everywhere on the sky and be more or less spot on. But maybe you are right and I just do a PlateSolve afte...

Automatic mount alignment
Dear SharpCap team, I polar alignment my EQ6-R mount with the guidscope and later with your awesome polar alignment routine. After that I manually moved around the sky and aligned stars to get my mount aligned with the sky. Latley I figured out, how to do that far quicker with plate solving, but it ...

How to update mount position after plate solving?
Hi all,
I did a plate solving with SharpCap and it worked (got the green message with the coordinates). By my EQ6 mount was not updated. I did the same with NINA and it worked, so I guess I did something wrong in my configuration in SharpCap. Any ideas?
Thanks, Rainer
