Re: Save Individual Frames as FITS
Under settings, there is an option to save images as FITS as well as save video files as SER or AVI. Select which options you want and then apply and restart.

Re: ASI1600MM cool Flats problem
I always set my preferred format to FITS. Then it opens in all the programs but PS, but at least it works.

Zoom Feature
Can you add a magnifying zoom option? Would be nice to have something that allows you to zoom a small area or look around the image. Just create a simple box that can be defined as X percent pixel zoom.
Re: NGC891
Thank you both for the comments. I was quite impressed with the 1600OSC and the ability to obtain such detail in short exposures.

Re: Beginners help
Lets start from scratch, which telescope and camera are you using? How do you have the camera attached? 1. First thing to do is ensure that you have enough backfocus for the camera and telescope combination you have. If you don't have enough back focus or inward focus, you won't see much of anything...

Re: SC 3.0 Automatic Flats use in imaging?
Had a question about the flats. When I capture flats at 2xBin, it always shows a green light when the flats are in the proper range of exposure, however, at 1xBin, it always says less than 10% pixels outside range. When I attempt to adjust exposure, it does not change. Any suggestion as to why at 2x...

Re: Info stacking
I have found that if you are dropping a lot of frames, it is usually due to one of the settings being off. Most often it is the noise filter size. It's usually set for .5. If you increase that to 1 or 2, it will help weed out bad pixels and alignment goes much smoother.

Re: iOptron Minitower - Error connecting to ASCOM mount. Object required.
I have noticed that this issue isn't just with the minitower but with the iEQ45-GTN. It locks up SC causing me to force a shutdown and restart of the the software. I have found that MaximDL/CCD seems to handle the iOptron ASCOM drivers rather well but all other programs lock up. I am going to assume...

Re: Avoiding Bright Spaces on the Sun
The two areas that are bright are due to over exposure/glare in that region. Simply lower the exposure settings until the entire surface is displayed nicely in the view. You can always increase exposure in PS or other processing programs, but you cannot decrease something that is over exposed. I alw...
