Re: SXVF-M25C in ASCOM mode
Yes it is there and I select the correct Bayer matrix pattern. The sensor analysis is in trouble because there are 3 spikes in the histogram (rgb). I even tried with a ha filter but it was not successful - in one if the steps it appears stuck at 250ms for some time when selecting exposure time and d...

Re: SXVF-M25C in ASCOM mode
Understood. I only used the Ascom driver because the native support is still problematic. Pls see my other bug report which I updated a few hours ago.

SXVF-M25C in ASCOM mode
Win 10 Pro
Starlight Xpress SXVF-M25C in ASCOM mode
SharpCap 3.2.6366
Hi Robin,
The M25C is not recognized as colour camera, or ? The colour mode is MONO16, I was expecting RAW16.
But the dropdown Debayer Preview is active.
Context : sensor analysis. The resulst are clearly garbage.

Pierre

Re: SXVF-M25C not recognized as colour camera
Hi Robin,
I am afraid that there is still something wrong (I installed the very latest version 3.2.6366, which brings RAW16 indeed).
Here is what the display looks like :
I cannot run the sensor analysis - which was my original problem.

Re: SXVF-M25C not recognized as colour camera
Hi Robin,
indeed...
From what I can see in the SDK, the M25C is known as (hex) 0x59 (which matches dec 89).
Note that there are several other models that are colour but have a model number <128 : M26C, SuperstarC...
The M26C is still available. The other are probably retired products.

Re: SXVF-M25C not recognized as colour camera
Hi,
Strange.
Like all SX cameras, my M25C is identified with a PID.
It should be 325, according to SX.
And it is indeed the case, as I can see whren using the basic SX software as test.

Re: Sensor analysis and sx ccd
Hi,
thanks ! I will give it a go.
Is it normal that colour space is MONO16 ? I was expecting RAW16 for this colour camera (M25C)
Regards,
Pierre
