name/id for stars in full catalog
I see that stars to 7th mag are included in the full catalog. What name or id do I use to reference them? I searched the manual and help, but don't see the answer.

Re: Switching between NTSC and PAL format
Your answer made me think of another way to solve this problem. I started a package that allows me to switch between the format, the IOTA VideoCapture 2.3, set it to accepting PAL, and then started SharpCap. After turning IOTA VidCap off, SharpCap is now displaying the PAL data.

Switching between NTSC and PAL format
The camera Pin option shows NTSC_M as the video standard. It will not allow me to change that. where is that set?

Re: Upcoming new features
I see that the new features on v4.0.8026 included a new QHY SDK. Should we recalibrate our QHY174 GPS?

QHY 174 GPS calibration script thanks
Thank you Jean-Francois for the QHY 174 GPS calibration script you posted in topic #2241! With that, I was able to solve a calibration issue I was having. I re-calibrated our QHY manually using the new understanding of the default values as described by Robin. Then I ran some short tests, mostly che...

Re: Plate solve issues
I did the rebase, following the instructions in the cygwin documentation, I gave up waiting for clear skies and tested with the folder monitor camera, reading data where plate solve failed. I ran through a number of them and did not experience the failure again. I think this one is solved, or at lea...

Plate solve issues
We've had various problems when trying to use plate solve. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it crashes SharpCap. We are likely trying to use this feature in a way not originally intended. Here are the specifics of last night's efforts: Both SharpCap Pro 3.2.6480 and the Beta versi...

Problems with plate solve
I had SharpCap able to do plate solving using ANSVR or Astrotortilla on a Laptop (Dell XPS 13 running Win 10) that has been damaged and needs to be replaced. I tried to move everything to another laptop (also a Dell XPS 13 running Win 10) but things are not working. The AstroTortilla seems to be cor...
