Hi Menno, Good observation. I think I know where the problem is – wrong offset was in use during data collection. When I collected the data the offset was 5 (SharpCap calls it ‘Brightness’ for ZWO cameras! :? ). Subsequent tests have shown this needs to be much higher for the gain and temp used. I h...

I think the confusion comes from the labels on the right Image Control tab. It would be better if they said something like ‘ch amp gain’. This would indicate that they controlled the camera directly. I had the same miss conception till I experimented with the Image Control tab sliders and found that...
