Which output format for Planets and DSO
For Planetary imaging do you use AVI files, if this is the case on the Camera Control Panel do you use frames per second as it is a video and what setting would you use to take a image of a planet. Thank you for your reply. I am testing the software in my house not at the telescope. I cover the lens of my ZWO camera then on sharpcap I click on capture then on dark frame on drop down box, then start. As you say it just makes one master dark frame, but for DeepSky Stacker you need a lot of indiv...

When I take a number of dark frames (50) and I go to the dark file and open it up instead of 50 files there is just one dark file. I am using FITs files.
