Re: Final Position of the Camera
Well, the weather here has been variable and other "duties" have called even when the night sky was good. I have had several tries in the last two weeks where I used Polar Alignment with different starting and ending points. There were runs with the camera starting level to the horizon and...

Re: Administrator Can't Install
FYI, I just did a "repair" to v3.1.5004 and that restored me to a running installation.
That version (5004) suggested an update to 5029, so I tried that. It ran and did complete the installation, so I'm up on 5029 now.

Administrator Can't Install
Trying to update my system with 3.1.5029. The installer is stopping with a message that Administrator rights are required. I am logged in as an Admin, but getting the message nonetheless. I also tried right-clicking to "Run as Administrator", but that was also unsuccessful. Any suggestions...

Re: Final Position of the Camera
Robin, Thanks, it sounds like you are saying that it may not matter since the PA routines now take the camera rotation into account when displaying az/el corrections- To make things easier, SharpCap now calculates the up/down/left/right movements needed - these apply to movements of the mount and ar...

Final Position of the Camera
First, thanks very much for including Polar Alignment in SharpCap. It establishes a great basis for everything we do in each session and has been a real help to my efforts. I'm having a small problem with the procedure and wonder if you could comment. My setup is an SV102T refractor, an ASI071MC-Coo...

SharpCap 3.1.4915 Crash
SC 3.1 stopped running last night during a capture sequence. There were no other symptoms except a message box. The sequence completed normally after stopping and restarting SC.

ASI120MM -- MONO16 Mode Problem
I am using an ASI071MC-Cool for photograpy and an ASI120MM for guidance. For testing, I run two copies of SharpCap 3.0. Both cameras are connected to a USB3 hub which then goes by a single extension cable to my laptop. For a long while, this was running well. Lately, I have been experimenting with d...

Re: Unable to Uninstall Ver 3.0.3994.0
Yea! Both cameras are working with 3.0 and 3.1. No messages from Windows Defender. It looks like a good repair and ready to go back out when the moon goes away....

Re: Unable to Uninstall Ver 3.0.3994.0
OK, some progress. I tried to install 4017, but it popped a window about missing the .msi file. I OK'd that message and found the progress window saying that the new version was installed. It runs and seems to be ok. Let's call this a success. I will try it with a camera this evening and post a simp...
