Hi all,
Tested with simulation (Test Camera 1 with the Orion image) - it works.
Many thanks to Jean-Francois!

Re: Show UCAC4 stars in the Deep Sky Annotation
Hi Jean-Francois,
Very cool indeed because the 4UC catalog is of high importance for occultation work.
I made a quick test under W10 and latest SC 4.1 using the Test Camera 1 with the Orion image. It worked, see a crop:
Cheers

Re: Possible timestamp error in SER files?
Hi Robin,
Christian
Maybe this helps? - Open adv in Tangra, then Tools > ADV/AAV tools > FSTS File Viewer > a new window opens (Tangra must be closed before). There is a lot of information ....is there a tool to view the metadata on an ADV file?

Re: AZ-GTi Mount does not slew when plate solving
Hi, Without going into the many variations of programmes and settings, I found out what my main problem was: the high susceptibility of the WiFi (inbuilt at AzGTi, SkyWatcher WiFi adapter for SkyWatcher Flextube) connection to interference. These problems manifested themselves in "no connection...

Re: GPS information with 4.1.11013.0-64bit
Hi, So far I did not find the time for testing the new SC 4.1 (mainly regarding stellar occultations recording with the QHY174GPS). A short test confirmes Jean-Francois' report, see the pictures below (W10-64, SC pro, QHY174GPS with firmware upgrade): Clipboard02.png Clipboard01.png Cheers Christian

Re: AZ-GTi Mount does not slew when plate solving
Hi, After installing the latest versions (synscanpro_windows_245, synscan_app_ascom_driver_140 - to be safe I set the ascom driver readout time from the default 800 ms to 1500 ms) under W10-64, ascom hub, indoor testing worked with AZ-GTi (latest firmware) and a 10" Flextube Skywatcher dobson. ...

Re: AZ-GTi Mount does not slew when plate solving
Hi,
There are buggy Syscan apps ... For years, I use the old v 1.19.12 Pro without any issues (also with AZGTi, and with a Skywatcher Flextube 250). Have a look viewtopic.php?p=36892#p36892

Re: Running synscan pro app with sharpcap?
Hi,
Agree with the statement from Jean-Francois. I use synscan pro 1.19.12 (and did not update). Consider using an ASCOM hub as described here: viewtopic.php?p=17753#p17753.
