Right now, SharpCap will try to create the default folder if it is missing and only if it fails to create will it complain - the idea is to make things work without bothering people where possible, but I see your point. cheer...

no, that's not necessary - the analysis measures the characteristics of the sensor itself, not of the light falling on it, so the data you have collected will be fine for use with the filter (or a narrowband one for that matter).
