Hi Mike,
can I ask how you set up and run the timelapse? Since it's clearly an intermittent problem, I'd like to get the setup as similar as possible to yours so that I have a decent chance of making the same thing happen here.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Astronomical Dawn stopped my sequence
Hi, I think that is correct behaviour - the step is 'Stop running when astronomical event happens or has already happened'. This meanst that any time of the day after the sun has come up will be considered a time to stop running the contained steps. The goal is to have some predictability - maybe yo...

Re: sharpcap fails following restart.
Hi, yes, that's definitely an odd one - not heard of that before! If you have a look in SharpCap's log folder (use File menu, then 'Show Log', then 'Locate on Disk'), the logs for the crashed runs will probably be there and might contain some info about what is going wrong (on the other hand, they c...

Re: My Python scripts broke between 4.1.11137.0 and 4.1.12025.0
Hi, sorry about this - I made some changes to the way that the scripting worked for this sort of thing because I found that internal things in the code were usable in scripting, which I hadn't intended. Unfortunately there are two problems... Firstly people had already found and started using the in...

Re: selecting dark frame accidentally hit x...
Hi Marc, the frame is not deleted when you hit 'X', just removed from the list of darks shown in the dropdown in SharpCap. All you need to do is find it on disk, where it will still be in the original location. If you captured it using SharpCap's dark capture function then have a look in the main 'S...

Re: AllSky cameras (round 2)
Hi Peter, unfortunately ASCOM remote when used to control cameras is really only suitable for long exposure capturing where the extra time taken by the remote connection and transferring the frame over the network doesn't matter too much (compared to an exposure of 30s or 90s etc). For high speed im...

Re: 183MC-Pro weirdness with SC 4.1.12025.0 (64-bit)
Hi,
OK, odd that the 183 fails to work when other high resolution cameras are fine. Do you have another PC you can test on? I have seen some cases where a particular PC or laptop (or even particular USB ports) just don't get along well with some cameras.
cheers,
Robin

Re: End of sequence after meridian flip
Hi, that's odd - that doesn't match the code of the sequence recorded in the logfile above : STOP AT LOCALTIME 03:30:00 TARGETNAME "NGC 5055 Sunflower" MOUNT GOTO "RA 13h 15m 48.22s | Dec 42° 01' 52.1'' " SAVE MOUNT COORDINATES STOP AT 1 FROM MERIDIAN GOSUB "Main Imaging Seq...

Re: Allow different +RA and -RA rates in Feature Tracking
Hi Mike, if you get any clear skies, give the new 4.1.12066 version a try with the option to enable the pre-release features. If that is done correctly then you should see a log message containing this text when starting calibration Using new mount guiding for calibration/movement (offset of mount p...

Re: End of sequence after meridian flip
Hi, 'Stop at 1 from meridian' will stop the previous imaging when the mount is 1 degree short of reaching the meridian - 4 minutes of time. Depending on how quickly the sequence runs from that 'stop' point to getting to call the MeridianFlip subroutine, it could happen that the attempt at meridian f...
