Hi,
glad to hear you got it working - it's easy to forget drivers, as you do it once when you get the camera and usually never have to think about it again until you change PC.
cheers,
Robin

Re: 183MC-Pro weirdness with SC 4.1.12025.0 (64-bit)
Hi Mike, no worries - when you do get a chance to repro either of the issues, let me know the results. You can see the frame average value in FITS liberator for the dark, but there isn't much we can do with that data without a light frame (unprocessed) to compare it to. There was previously an issue...

Re: Exclude outlier pixel values when creating master dark frame
Hi, the designed use case for that new feature is that one or more of the individual dark frames contain hot/warm pixels that are absent from the other frames. Including these pixels in the calculation of the master dark leads to a 'lukewarm' pixel in the master dark that can punch black holes in th...

Re: New mount and how to connect sharpcap
Hi John,
that sounds really promising - if it works it should solve the problem as you will be able to pick one of the LX200 ASCOM drivers and use that.
cheers,
Robin

Re: neximage5
Hi, things to do: * Check if any system drivers from Celestron are needed and if so, install those * Look in Windows 'Device Manager' and see if the Neximage5 is showing up there (if it has a yellow exclaimation mark or doesn't show up then there is a problem). Often pulling the device USB cable out...

Re: 183MC-Pro weirdness with SC 4.1.12025.0 (64-bit)
Hi Mike, on the dark frame issue, the first step I would suggest is a 'check the plug' test on the dark frame and the light frames - open the dark you were using and one of the raw light frames in a tool like FITSLiberator and check that the average pixel value of the dark frame really is lower than...

Re: Sync & ReCenter
Hi, thanks for reporting back on your latest testing - it's particularly interesting that the error from CdC is half that from SharpCap 'solve and sync' and matches a SharpCap plain GOTO. That ties in nicely with the my analysis in post #9 above - that the GOTO is ending up in the wrong position and...

Re: Lunt O Ring Replacement.
Hi, seems like as good a place as any for it... I would have thought that O-rings are fairly much a commodity item, and there's probably no difference between those used for a pressure tuner than those used in some completely different application - the important things are the diameter across the O...

Re: ADV formats capture Error
Hi, thanks for the data - I think I have identified the ADV problem now due to a change I introduced in 4.1.12151 - I have a fix for the next update. There's no way in software that I know of to force the camera to run in USB 2 mode - the easiest options are either to use a USB2 cable if the camera ...
