Hi Bill,
since I found and answered the other copy first, I moved that one here into bug reports - I will lock this topic and continue the discussion as needed in the other copy.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Capture failures last night
Hi Bill, thanks for posting the log - from the details in it, it looks like this is very similar to another issue that I am currently trying to solve (https://forums.sharpcap.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=7618). It seems that in both cases the camera stops responding to requests for frames without any usefu...

Re: New Feature : Support for ASCOM Cover/Calibrator devices
Hi,
OK, no worries. What happens if you just tell it to ignore the error? Does it do what you want? That would indicate that I can make SharpCap treat the error as less serious and perhaps get it working.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Manual Focus - mororised focuser attached
Hi Geoff,
possibly, might make sense with the 'large step' button. I will have to investigate how easy it is to distinguish between a press and 'press and hold' from that point of view.
cheers,
Robin

Re: Sharpcap Pro et Exos 2 GOTO Bresser
Hi, the best thing to do is to set up the mount to the best of your ability and then try to connect to it in SharpCap. Once you have done that, please post details of any error you get along with the contents of the SharpCap log (which will reveal more details of the error - hopefully). If connectio...

Hi,
glad to hear that it is working now I like the idea of setting the level of your dob using the tool to find the celestial pole!
Clear skies!

Robin

Re: Feature Tracking Tool
Hi, yes, the fix for the circles making it to the output file should also apply to the crosshairs :) On the drift, I'm sure there's a rule that relates the direction of drift to the direction that you should tweak the polar alignment (basically it's drift alignment). Odd to drift left though (unless...

Re: Touptek SkyEye 24AC (IMX410)
Hi, SharpCap auto-switches the LCG->HCG mode at the gain level where it is first valid to engage HCG. For the IMX410 sensor, that's 500 gain. Other applications do allow a manual LCG/HCG choice, but I feel that there are issues with that approach - for one thing, most users probably don't even under...
